Brackets for relocation of the alternator, prevents fan belt from dropping out.
Under extreme conditions such as competition use, the stock cylinder block gets cracked due to a stud/bolt underneath the alternator by its own vibration. Relocating the alternator with this kit prevents this problem.
When running a big turbo on a 2JZ, the alternator is directly exposed to head coming from the exhaust. It is ideal to relocate the alternator to the intake side to prevent heat damage.
For applications where air con has been removed.
